BioEnell was posted for a few months as the captain of the Federation Station Empok Nor in the Trivas system, but when she found out about a coverup involving the loss of a Trill ship, the Sintran, that the Federation refused to resolve, she handed in her pips and started on a mission to recover the ship herself.
She now commands the starship Nautilus Euphrosyne, along with Commander Justek, sent as an attache from the Cardassian government and Vedek Masoi, both of whom served on Empok Nor and are involved as there was a Bajoran and Cardassian concern in the finding of the Sintran. Her other crew members include two unJoined Trill, Marius Zane and Thea Sheel.
Enell was born and raised on Trill until the age of 18 when she joined Starfleet Academy and quickly worked her way into officer training and served time as a Junior Officer on the USS Bengal. At the age of 24 she returned to Trill having been accepted to recieve a Symbiont.
She was joined to the Tola Symbiont and became its fifth host. All four of the previous hosts had also been members of Starfleet but in many varying professions.
The most recent host Timu had been a science officer specialising in xenobiology. Before that Rajim Tola had become a Starfleet Admiral and later a diplomat, he had been involved especially in the resolution of border disputes and first contact situations.
Lozion Tola had been a member of Starfeet security, working her way up to a chief security and strategics officer.
The first host Tranyal Tola had been an instructor at Starfleet Academy and specialised in inter-species diplomacy using her Trill heritage as a focal point for classes around species differentiation and what could be learnt from each other.
After being Joined and returning to Starfleet aged 28 Enell Tola went on to rise through the ranks, serving first on the USS Nile with engineer Sonnet Mal, before becoming First Officer for a time on the USS Minos.
Enell was then promoted to Captain and given command of the former Cardassian station Empok Nor.
As with many Trills Enell seems endowed with a wisdom beyond her years. She has good working relations with all coleagues and though she has strong diplomacy skills she can often be passionate about achieving her goals and has been known to question orders if they do not appear appropriate.
Most of her family still live on Trill, her mother, father and sister Kimta. Her brother Danzas, a recently joined Trill, works for the Trill government and has been posted for sometime on Betazed as a junior ambassador.
Enell has never married though had been engaged for a while to a fellow Trill whilst at the Academy, the relationship did not survive their seperate postings though they often stay in touch. Since then Enell has been too obsorbed in her work and climbing the ranks to get involved with anything more than passing fancies.
Although Empok Nor is her first command and on occasion she wonders how she got it, she has both in her own life and in the lives of her previous hosts much experience to draw on. Now aged 36 she is a young captain and is aware that her promotion was in part due to heavy losses during the War, but she intends to prove that confidence in her abilities has not been misplaced.
